Tan Original Comic Art Uncanny X-Men Issue # 430 Cover - Juggernaut !!!! Not For Sale IMHO, this was PST's best cover during his run on the Uncanny X-Men. Juggernaut is not a character I would typically collect but PST knocked this one out of the park. Most of the detailed line work on this cover gets lost. During the publishing process the art is reduced by 30%, the X-Men logo covers the top and the colorists airbrushes over many of the details. He's a young guy so his art is only getting better. I've seen quite a few of his pencils only work so I know that he can really draw. Match him up with a decent inker so he can better meet his deadlines and his storytelling will only improve. PST is now the artist for Todd McFarlane's Spawn with Danny Miki as his inker. This seems like a good artistic combination so fans should begin to appreciate PST's work more. It also says alot about the talent of Danny Miki.

| Adams,
Neal Original Comic Art Mixed Media Doc Savage Magazine Issue # 5 Pin-up I always thought this Neal Adams piece was art done for an advertising campaign until another fan pointed out the resemblence to Doc Savage, the Man of Bronze. I'm not sure why Marvel published the Pin-up in such a low quality manner. The published version looks all washed out. This piece was recently scanned by Continuity Studios for Neal's digital archives. Neal is hoping to re-issue this as a high resolution giclee or included in a rarities art book. Until Neal re-publishes the piece in the future, you get to see an image from my crappy digital camera. It still looks better than what Marvel published. Unfortuhnately, Marvel still owns the copyright so Neal may have problems re-publishing the image. This is not your typical original comic art piece done on thin 11 x 17 paper. This oversized masterpiece was done on heavy art board and easily resembles a painting or photograph when viewed in person. This piece remains locked up in the vault of my private collection.
